Today a prolific figure in African American Music History went on to meet his maker....... I don't have much to say about this ....but i mean Mike Jackson was prolly one of the most influential entertainers of our time and regardless of his personal issues (Which we all know he had) ......you couldn't deny his showmen ship or talent



He will be greatly missed..... I still in shock....this is kinda surreal!!!!

AJ Spizikes Black/Cement

First up with have the AJ Spizike Model (Which is a combination of pasted AJ #'d Sneakers) .....personally i love these shoes.... i actually owned the white/black/red pair that came out last year..... just really gave them to my lil cuz .....and he loves them as well .....the only problem i have with the shoe is the flimsy tongue .....but that can be remedied if you lace the shoes up in the correct manner!

These sneakz will be coming out in February of 2010
Hopefully right in time for my BDAY! (The 23rd)

Second up we have a great pair of shoes in the AJ Retro 6's ....... these are a must have for 2010 in my eyes....... These are right up my alley..... I like the mixture of the dark green and brown and the speckles on the sole of the shoe........ it also looks as if the Nike swoosh will be made of a suede material ..... This is def. a solid concept for NIKE i hope that produce more like it!!!

RETRO JORDAN XII

I'm real excited for the October release of these Jordan brand retro sneakers....... the original Rising Sun Jordan model dropped in during Jordan's 96/97 NBA Season. I remember having a pair of the playoff black/white ones .......they were very durable shoes and like many other Jordan's shoes were incredibly light........ These are probably my favorite Jordan signature shoe ....I take that back I'll always love the X's .....

Nike SB Dunk Lo "Blu Lobsters"

First let me start by saying i have been doing this for about three months now and this is my 15TH Sneaker Sabbath (Double S) Sneaker post........ check out the other fourteen and see how I have progressed lol .....

Alright so these shoes were initially a Internet hoax and had not been actually developed by Nike, But seeing how this created so much buzz i guess Nike actually decided to create the shoe and its shaping up to be a shoe of mass proportion. The shoe itself is a blue hued, suede upper with neon laces and printed lining. These will def. be sought for heavily......so it will take a very intense sneaker head with great ingenuity....lol

P.S. The concept box is mad hot as well

These shoes were created by the Good people at Nike SB and NJ Skate Shop ....Their called the Nike Dunk Low SB - "ATOMIC AVENGER" ..... which was a geek from New Jersey turned super hero due to a dip in a toxic waste vat from a movie baring the same name created by Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz in the 1984...... These sneaks don't have the signature fat SB tongue or big SB laces...but known the less are still a must have....I believe they will only be sold at NJ Skate Shop in small quantities. These shoes are all over the net right now .....they are crazy......they are called the Nike Hypermax "McFly Edition" ..... named after the Back to the Feature character MARTY McFly (Michael J. Fox) which was about a young boy going back in time with the help of a goofy scientist and changing his families history........ The movie and its predecessors are definitely classics........ Check out the shoes....they will be sold at only certain Nike retailers in limited quantities!!!!!

DUNKS!!!!!!!

Ight so today has been a bit gloomy in VA ......so I just been in the crib chillin and watchin "How High" Buck Up Bart BUUUUCCCKK UUUPPPP!...lol thats my favorite part lol ...found a couple pair of sneaks I thought were cool....and here they are:

The first pair of Sneakers that i will be presenting today are the "Cassette Player" Dunks Hi Premiums....... These were created by the team at Nike and Carol Mundane...... These shoes are kinda hot ....not quite my style not really feeling the white stitching on the mostly black shoe....but I def. like the transparent Nike sign on the side so you can see the whole design on the side panel.

These will be dropping at Footlocker and through my sources i have not been able to find out the exact date but check from them.



Next Up we have the Nike Dunk High GS White/Purple/Silver

These are hot!!! ....they are coming out in kids sizes .....def. a pick up for anyone trying to keep they kid fresh for the Summer...or a early Summer pick up for back to school for those trying to get a early jump on it. (LIKE MY MOM use to!!) lol


Lastly we have the Dunk Low CL Anthr/Black/Volt.....

These are hot.....I like the all black and the volt speckles on the black panels throughout the show.....then the anthracite as well on the side and upper panels offset the volt....which is really hot....... These are apart of the "EAST" "WEST" theme that Nike is coming out with in October.

This song ("New Divide") is the title track for the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen film that will be coming out next month.... and is shaping up to be another block busters smash staring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox and directed by Michael Bay .....also here is the trailer to the actual movie....I watched the original which came out in 2007 yesterday with anovelpearyl (contributor) and it got me hype for the sequel.

So i was on The Hundreds' Clothing Lines blog just a few minutes ago and found the opening short for the movie "UP" which came out about two weeks ago and has been doing pretty well in the box office.....I watched the short and if the movie is anything like this short....I'm sure it was pretty entertaining ....you might want to check this out now because Disney is quick to jump on things and shut down the post but we might be in luck cause this joint is on a foreign website....lol

So I just got off of work and ....came home and jumped on the net and found these two clips





The Jimmy Fallon clip .....is a funny clip in which Jimmy Fallon's singing over a Roots instrumental..... while Will Ferrel with a really creepy stare brushes a audience members hair .....Will Ferrell is mad funny lol .....just his facial expressions at times can be utterly hilarious.....

The second Clip is a group of mob dancers running into a retail store in a mall and performing the dance to MC Hammer's hit record "You Can't Touch This" ...... this joint is funny especially the break down seen ....and the dudes in the front were looking just like emcee Hammer lol

NEW MVPuppets Commercial [[ Car Jump]]

This one is funny.....its a spoof of the Kobe Bryant commercials of last year i believe that had him jumping over cars and pools of water filled with snakes..... these aren't as funny as the lil Dez commercials....but it definitely produce a small laugh from me every time i see it ......keep looking for more commercials I'm sure Nike still has one or two up their sleeve due to the Kobe and the Lakers being in the Finals......

So Nike hyped up the NBA finals with the KOBE BRYANT who actually made it to the finals and LEBRON JAMES who lost in a personally upsetting bought with the MAGIC....... So seeing as both these amazing players didn't make it to the FINALS......NIKE had to save face and come out with this new Commercial featuring lil DEZ and a sad LEBRON JAMES (Voice over by Keenan Thompson I couldn't tell till this commercial lol ).......

THIS SONG IS HOT!!!!!!!! -----So this song is really reminiscent of Jay_Z at Summer Jam in NEw York eating rappers alive like his TAkeover- (NAS and MoBB DEep Diss) ........ So clearly this is called the Death of Autotune or D.O.A. which can only be directed toward one person in my eyes .....[[KANYE]]..... There was rumored to be a falling out between Hov and Ye last month over the production of The Blue Print 3 ....Ye apparently wanted to put autotune on the CD without Hov's permission and he wasn't having it........ Then is was speculated that The Blue Print three was no more along with their relationship and that Hov was going to start on Kingdom Come 2 with a full album of Jus Blaze productions..Its unclear if either of those rumors are true.... I think this is a diss record but you make your on assumptions........ But I'm glad to see Hov back in rare form.....to me he is the Sickest rapper alive...... I'm sure some would beg to differ tho lol ......

So this dude is like one of the best male R&B artist of our time man.....and just when you were starting to wonder what happen to MAXWELL .....he comes out with this beautiful melody and slated to come out with a album on July 7th......which will def. go PLATINUM because its Maxwell lol .....I will def. be feature that joint up here.

Lol this is a funny clip......Big Boi of OutKast is talking about some phony kicks he got from off the Internet and wore at a photo shoot about ten years ago........ Now this is a big deal to me because i been telling mad heads ....for a long time that if you can't go to a website like Nike.com or the official Jordan Brand website and find the colors that they are selling on a shifty site.....then more then likely those sneakers are fake man!!!!.........For instances i saw i did a couple years back with some CLEAR Jordan 8's and they were also like red and black...... now you know good and damn well ....Jordan didn't ever come out with any clear shoes .......NIKE Came out with some clear AF1's and they FAILED.......... I hate when dudes know they shoes are fake and they try to fake like they real,,,,dog if they fake they fake and that's all i got to say about!!!

Don't buy fake shoes for low prices off these lil fraudulent sneaker websites...because i promise you you'll be disappointed I've seen it happen!!!

This PSA isn't just funny but it also brings in to question what exactly constitutes some one being a "REAL" Black person..... I know on numerous occasions as a child and now since i have gone on to indulge myself in the institution of higher education that people say ..... I talk "White" or act as if i think I'm better then them by using words that I have learned in college.....but aren't we suppose to strive for the best so by using more intricate words I hope to inspire others to go out and learn and strive for more then mediocrity ......being a "Real" black person is being a man or woman who is doing everything they can to better their fellow Afro Americans and all other cultures through the matriculation (expansion or spreading) of knowledge and simultaneously not allowing the morals and ideals of our forefathers to be lost in the process......Why do we as a people have so much hate in our hearts for one another??? I think its deeply rooted in us ....way back to the slavery days and the Field Hand and House "Niggers"..... that translates over into modern time ....becuase people who go to college and get educations are seen to be the house "niggers" trying to be like "Master" (the white man) and the people who don't go to college are the field hands those who stay close to their "RoOTS".....def. something to ponder.....

Secondly this address the issue of local artist selling music and why do they get mad when you say no??? ..... Truthfully it doesn't make sense to me ....if I've never heard music from a artist how can i make a conscious decision on buying it.....Cd's aren't cheap .....Five dollars is a lot of money (If you didn't catch the memo were in a RECESSION) lol ..... and I'm not trying to get taken FTSwindle...... To buy a CD on the street of a artist that you have never heard is "Russian Roulette" you could end up buying a CD of musical genius or you could just be picking up some str8 BS!!!....So do so with discretion.....but still to me its a unwise financial transaction lls
