Man i appreciate this brother (Malice From the CLIPSE) for showing people that its not all about the glits and glamour of the rap game. This allows me to see that he seperates his rap career from the things that he enjoys in life. This joint really makes me appreciate them more as artist.
Shows that just becuase you have some popularity doesn't translate into the big cars and diamonds and girls that you see in the videos.......alot of artist don't live that lifestyle outside of the studio or video set.......
The rapping about killing and Drugs doesn't equal what he does in life but being from the same area that i'm from VA. Beach, Virginia i'm sure that he has seen it! So he paints the picture and shows the pros and cons of the lifestyle that many brothers and sistahs lead round my way.
On another note Clipse Manager was indited on running a ten million dollar drug ring in the Hampton Roads area. Wish him the best i'm sure he has a family and thats heart breaking.
