I know i wasn't alive during .....there era .... but I really wish I had been....both of these musical geniuses met untimely deaths....and made music that changed the face of solo artistry. Here are several pieces that I love from each of these gentlemen

I couldn't find my two favorite D. Hathaway songs on youtube ..... they are "For all we know" and "A Song for U" ...check them out! .....This man's voice put u in the moment he was singing about .... their was so much emotion and pain ..... Unfortunately he took his own life after a severe battle with Schzophrenia
